Overview

This product preliminarily determines whether cow’s milk has been mixed into goat’s milk by detecting the main

component, α-lactalbumin, in cow’s milk.

Test principle

The reaction zone is coated with T and C lines. The C line is the quality control line, the T line is the anti-α

-lactalbumin monoclonal antibody 1 (Ab-1), and the C line is the sheep anti-mouse. The binding pad is the

conjugate of antibody 2 and colloidal gold (Ab-2-Gdd). When the target protein contained in the sample is

chromatographed to the binding pad, the conjugate of Ab-2 and colloidal gold will specifically bind to the target

protein. When they are chromatographed together to the T-line, another site on the target protein will

specifically bind to Ab-1, thereby showing a red line (T line). Regardless of whether the target protein is present in

the sample or not, Ab-2-Gdd will bind to the sheep anti-mouse, showing a red line (C line).

Please store the test kit at 2-8 ℃,avoid direct sunlight. The expiry date is shown in the outer packing.

Sample Preparation

Notices before test

 Both dust in the environment and contaminated equipment may affect experimental results. In order to

avoid contamination during operation, it is recommended to distinguish between the sample preparation

area and the detection area. Before sampling, please clean all equipment and working surfaces with 75%

ethanol and wear gloves during the operation to ensure the accuracy of the test.

 When sampling, make sure everything clean for test accuracy.

Preparation of samples

Note: All materials used in sampling step should be cleaned before use, to ensure the accuracy of result.

1. Goat milk (Dilution ratio 100x)

1.1 Take 300 μL of the test sample and add it to a 5 mL centrifuge tube with 2700 μL of the diluted solution.

Shake and mix evenly.

1.2 Take 100 μL of the above liquid and add it to a 1.5 mL centrifuge tube with 900 μL of the diluted solution.

Shake and mix evenly. This is the test solution.

2. Goat milk powder (Dilution ratio 100x)

2.1 Take 0.3 grams of goat milk powder and add it to a 5mL centrifuge tube with 3000μL of the diluted solution.

Shake to dissolve and mix evenly.

2.2 Take 100 μL of the above liquid and add it to a 1.5 mL centrifuge tube with 900 μL of the diluted solution.

Shake and mix evenly. This is the test solution.

Assay Test

1.

Restore the kit to room temperature (20-25 ℃) and please read the instruction manual completely before

the testing.

Take out a test strip. Please handle the coloured sticker part only to avoid touching the reaction zone.

3.

Insert the test strip into the 1.5 mL micro-centrifuge tube with 200 μL sample testing solution, "MAX" side

down. Do not allow liquid height to exceed the arrow.

4.

The results should be read at exactly 10 minutes. Interpretation at other times is invalid. Please take a

picture to keep the result.

Notices:



Please complete the whole test operation process within 30 minutes.



After 10 minutes of reaction, please read the result immediately.



When taking out the test strip, do not touch the reaction area and sample area to ensure the detection

accuracy.

Results Analysis



Negative result: Only the C line of the test strip is colored.



Positive result: Both C and T lines are colored.



Invalid result: When the C line of the test strip is not colored, the reaction fails. Please check the following

possible reasons, and retest with a new test strip:

A. If the test strip packaging is damaged.

B. If the test strip is damp.

C. If the sample is too thick or too concentrated.

Notices:

 Please read the results immediately within 10 minutes after the reaction, so as not to affect the accuracy

of the results due to time.

 Samples with high target protein concentration will inhibit the normal colour development of T-line or

C-line band, please retest with a further dilution.



This product is only for testing on food or the environment, not for human body use.



The buffer contained in this product is non-toxic; in order to ensure correct detection, please avoid dumping

and leakage during use.



PriboStrip TM Rapid Test Strip is designed as a one-time use. Please do not re-use test strip.



Test strips are particularly sensitive to moisture, which can cause test strips to fail. Please keep them dry.



Please do not use expired test strips to ensure test accuracy.



This product is a qualitative test, and the results are only used for preliminary screening; the test strip has its

own limit value. If the result is negative, it means no detection, but it does not mean that the test value is

zero. If you need a more accurate value, please send to local health bureau or testing agency for

confirmation.



All samples require dilution with buffer in this kit. Do not test the sample directly with the test strip.



Highly concentrated samples, food samples containing high level of polyphenols (e.g. coffee, tea, wine,

chocolate etc.), high lipids (e.g. peanut butter, oil, etc.) or dark food colouring (e.g. soy sauce) will affect the

results of the tests.



If the sample solution is too thick to cause the reagent invalid, please dilute the sample solution again, and

take a new set of test strips for testing.



If the sample is further diluted, the extra dilution factor should be considered in calculation.
